Dr. Katie Lauve-Moon is a sociologist, social worker, teacher, and ordained minister who researches in the areas of gender, work, congregations, and inequality. She situates her work in the hope for change and values having critical conversations related to the persistent inequalities faced in organizations, congregations, and workplaces. She is the author of Preacher Woman: A Critical Look at Sexism Without Sexists (2021) and co-creator of the Undoing Sexism course, which addresses organizational sexism and gender bias. She currently serves as full-time faculty in the Social Work Department as well as affiliate faculty with the Women and Gender Studies Department at Texas Christian University. Originally a Louisianian, Katie live in Fort Worth, Texas with her partner, fellow sociologist and ordained minister, Tim Lauve-Moon, and son, Moses.
